Hi-tea with Ying Ker Lou

Hi-tea now is much cheaper with the 5 star Hakka restaurant at Ying Ker Lou.From 3pm to 6pm on weekdays at Ying Ker Lou outlet, they is a hi-tea menu for just who wants a cheap area of hi-tea but don't know where to?YING KER LOU is the place for you!It offers varieties from porridge, noodles, pau's and even some chinese delicacy of dim sum.The famous dish there was fried abacus. It is a must-try dish in the restaurant which is only RM6!

I didn't order the abacus but instead I order a chicken with salted egg and golden century egg due to it was raining and I need something to warm my cold tummy.
Then there is fried bamboo shoots wrapped in a karipap shape..Quite delcious too.
While I order a Jasmine tea which I like the way they prepared it.The autentic way.In the olden days, the chinese was prepare with a small cup then a hot tea pot.It is quite rare to see like this now..only when you go to the area which are just selling tea only.I kept pouring the tea on the table the whole time cuz I never dine in a 5 star restaurant alone..how embrassing..i know =="
